Holiday on the south coast, August 2010

Once again, near on 20 singles, couples and families will be holidaying together on the south coast. Two lovely cottages have been booked and a variety of days out, walks, trips to the beach and BBQ's are anticipated. Last year's fantastic weather may even be possible.

Three Valleys President's Day, 25 July 2010
The club would like to thank Alison Solomon for suggesting a day out at The Chiltern Open Air Museum as a way of celebrating the end of her year as club president (July 2009 - June 2010). Both adults and children will enjoy the 'living history' exhibits, the extensive parkland and the big picnic! Let's hope the weather behaves.

Three Valleys Murder Mystery 2010
This annual fundrasing event presented by Three Valleys Club took place in June 2010 at the Wheathampstead Memorial Hall, Herts. The premise this time was that Count Dracula had been murdered and it was up to 'is missus to guess which one of his monster friends had done it! Feed back as usual confirmed that all the hard work had been worth it - the story was enjoyable, the costumes scary, the food fantastic. Now all that's needed are some good ideas for next year.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Our family 10th Anniversary event was held in the Tree Cathedral near Whipsnade on Monday 31 May 2010. Having 'bagged' a large open area for the group, gazeeboos were set up and the children set off on a Teddy Bear Hunt, which they all enjoyed. The group then settled down to a picnic complete with Birthday Cake. A massive game of rounders then ensued - Girls v Boys. Unfortunately the Boys won, but wait 'til next time!
